Jasmine Richardson, quote: “I have this plan. It begins with me killing them and ends with me living with you.”

“[I]t was Richardson, who, after hearing her eight year old brother plead, “I’m scared. I’m too young to die,” plunged a knife into his chest. The boyfriend followed that by cutting the boy’s throat. The couple murdered her parents in another room of the house. [Paul Elam, “Murderess Jasmine Richardson attends Mount Royal University,” A Voice for Men, Sep. 14, 2011]

Wikipedia excerpt: At 1:00 p.m. on April 23, 2006, the bodies of husband Marc Richardson, 42, and wife Debra, 48, were found in the basement of their home, and the body of their son Jacob, 8, was discovered upstairs. Absent from the home at that time was the couple’s 12-year-old daughter. For a time it was feared that she might have been a victim, but she was arrested the following day in the community of Leader, Saskatchewan, about 130 kilometres (81 mi) away, with her 23-year-old boyfriend Jeremy Allan Steinke. Both were charged with the three murders. Later, on May 3, 2006, Steinke’s friend Kacy Lancaster, 19, was charged with being an accessory, for driving them away in her pickup truck later in the day and for disposing of evidence.

According to friends of the daughter, the girl’s parents had punished her for dating Steinke, due to the age disparity. Her friends had also criticized their relationship. Shortly after her arrest, Steinke asked her to marry him, and she agreed.

On December 15, 2008, Steinke was sentenced to three life sentences on each of three counts of first-degree murder.

In September 2011, the murderess began attending classes at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta during the final years of her sentence.
